Using Cmora
These terms are between you and Telman Gadimov, an individual operating Cmora at heycmora.com ("Cmora", "we" or "us"). Our contact address is 23 Ahmad Rajabli, Baku 1005. They cover your use of the email writing and design app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use Cmora for an organisation, you must have authority to act for it. You must be an adult legally able to enter this agreement.
Questions, support requests and notices can be sent to hello@heycmora.com. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle information.
Accounts and teams
Provide an email address you control and keep your sign-in links, codes, password and connected-tool credentials secure. You are responsible for activity you authorise on your account. Contact us if you suspect unauthorised access.
Team members can work on the owner's shared brands and emails, use connected tools and spend the account's credits. The owner manages membership and purchases. Removing a member does not remove work saved to the shared account.
Your content and AI output
You retain your rights to the content you provide. As between you and Cmora, you may use, edit and export the emails generated for you, including commercially. This does not give you rights to someone else's logos, photographs, fonts or other protected material. You must have permission to use the sites and content you submit.
You give us permission to process, store and transmit your content to provide the features you request, including AI editing and connected-tool exports, as described in the Privacy policy. Cmora's software, branding and built-in product assets remain ours or our licensors'.
AI can make mistakes and produce similar content for different people. Review facts, offers, links, accessibility, legal notices, recipient details and email rendering before publishing or sending. We do not guarantee accuracy, uniqueness, deliverability or marketing results. Cmora prepares content; your sending provider controls delivery and campaigns.
Acceptable use
Use Cmora lawfully and follow the rules of connected services. Do not use it for spam, phishing, fraud, unlawful content or infringement; access accounts or data without permission; bypass security, credit or trial limits; create accounts to obtain repeated free allowances; or disrupt the service. You are responsible for recipient consent, unsubscribe handling, sender identification and the claims in the emails you send.
Plans, trial credits and AI credits
Your plan sets your brand, team and monthly AI credit allowances. The app shows the applicable allowance and action cost. Currently, a new AI email costs 2 credits and an AI editing message costs 1. Manual editing and export do not use AI credits.
- Free trial credits are granted once per account. Free AI also has an allowance shared across accounts using the same website domain. Deleting an account does not reset that domain allowance.
- Monthly credits refill on the first day of each calendar month at 00:00 UTC, including on yearly plans. They do not roll over. The reset date is separate from your subscription billing date.
- Purchased credit packs and starter credits do not have a scheduled expiry. Monthly credits are spent first. Credits are for use in Cmora, have no cash redemption value and are not transferable between accounts.
- An AI action that fails returns its account credits. Undoing or discarding a successful result does not. Separate abuse and service limits can still apply to failed attempts.
Changing plans keeps track of credits already used that month. An upgrade adds the difference in allowance; a downgrade can reduce the remaining monthly balance. A downgrade keeps existing brands but can prevent adding more. First-plan starter credits are granted once, rather than on each plan change or license redemption.
Website purchases and renewals
Website subscriptions and credit packs are sold through Polar, our merchant of record and authorised reseller. The checkout shows the product, currency, price, billing interval and applicable taxes before you pay. Polar's Buyer Terms also apply to the transaction.
Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the interval shown until cancelled. Yearly plans are charged for the year upfront; any displayed monthly equivalent is a comparison, not a monthly payment. Credit packs are one-time purchases and do not renew.
An upgrade, including changing the same tier from monthly to yearly, is billed for the applicable prorated difference immediately. Other plan or interval changes credit the applicable difference toward the next invoice. Review the confirmation before switching. Changes to future prices will be communicated before they apply, with any consent required by law.
Cancellation and account deletion
Cancel a website subscription through Settings → Manage billing. Cancellation stops the next renewal and normally leaves the plan active until the end of the paid period. You can continue to use saved work and any remaining purchased credits under the account's applicable limits. If you cannot access billing, contact us or Polar through the contact details on your receipt.
Cancelling a subscription is different from requesting a refund and does not automatically refund a payment. Deleting an account ends its running subscription and removes the account and saved work. Unused credits cannot be recovered after deletion, so export anything you want to keep and contact us about any refund request first.
Refund requests
Website purchases: we review refund requests case by case. We do not offer a blanket money-back guarantee. Email hello@heycmora.com with your account email, order or receipt identifier, and what went wrong. Do not send card numbers or passwords. You can also contact Polar using the details on your receipt.
We consider the circumstances, including duplicate or mistaken charges, technical problems and the service or credits already used. Cancellation, non-use or a change of mind does not automatically create a refund entitlement. Approved refunds are processed through the original checkout provider. A full credit-pack refund removes the remaining credits from that pack; a refunded subscription may have its corresponding paid access ended.
AppSumo purchases: the eligibility and refund window shown on your AppSumo deal and order apply. Request the refund through your AppSumo account, following AppSumo's refund instructions. A refunded license no longer provides its plan.
Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable consumer rights, statutory cancellation or refund rights, remedies for a service that was not provided as required, or rights under your payment provider's terms. Polar and AppSumo may issue refunds under their own applicable terms. Any mandatory rights take priority over our discretionary policy.
AppSumo lifetime deals
A lifetime deal is a one-time purchase through AppSumo, with the features, limits and duration described on that deal. It includes recurring monthly AI allowances rather than unlimited AI use. Your account uses the highest active tier provided by its subscription or licenses; multiple codes do not automatically add their allowances together. Refunding or deactivating a license removes that entitlement. These terms do not reduce the purchase promises or refund rights in your AppSumo deal.
Availability and third-party services
We work to keep Cmora available, but outages, maintenance and dependencies can interrupt it. AI writing is subject to available credits, capacity, and abuse and cost limits. Connections depend on the other service's availability and API permissions; its own terms apply to your use of that service.
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation. This does not exclude warranties, remedies or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Suspension and ending access
We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security threats, unpaid purchases or a breach of these terms, with notice where practical. You can stop using Cmora and cancel or delete your account. If we discontinue a paid service, we will give reasonable notice and address remaining paid access and any refunds required by law or the applicable purchase terms. Exported emails remain yours to use, subject to any third-party rights.
Changes and resolving problems
We will post updated terms here and give notice before material changes take effect through the app or by email, with consent where required. Changes do not remove rights already acquired under a purchase or mandatory law. If you have a dispute or service problem, contact hello@heycmora.com so we can try to resolve it. These terms do not prevent you from using any court, regulator or other remedy available under mandatory law.
